Crayon Rolls

So I was asked to make some crayon rolls. There is a possible chance that I might be teaching a class on how to make them. I am not too sure if I am a good person to teach someone how to sew but I am going to give it a try. I made a boyish one and a girly one:

SDP-20091014-5

SDP-20091014-6

You can find the measurements here. I didn’t put the rick rack on them or use interfacing although I did put a thin piece of quilting batting inside to give it some substance (That is all that I had at home and I think it worked great!)

Those look great! I've been thinking of making one for my own stash but won't be reunited with my machine until Christmas. In the spirit of sharing "pretty" I should mention that stockmar beeswax crayons are fantastic. Not only do they smell nice and last a long time they give clear, crisp and vibrant colour;) I especially like the versatility of their block crayons.
