Aprons

This year for Christmas I decided to make some aprons for my sister in laws. I bought a new pattern online and went to the fabric store where I found some cute prints. And this is what I came up with:

The pattern was by chic sisters. I liked it but I added a pocket and made the neck strap adjustable. I also adapted a cute half apron from the pattern as well.

Stockings

I finally got to making Lorelei her very own stocking this year! She picked fabric out of my stash that had horses on it because she loves horses. I also made Elena one too. I traced out a shape of a stocking that I had and then cut it in to pieces with seam allowances and sewed it all together. I quilted the front on a piece of cotton and lined them in red felt. I thought red rick rack was cute for the loop to hang the stocking. Which after I was done Lorelei thought that she should hang them on the tree. The backing I used the black fabric for Lorelei’s stocking (the one that has horses, she has five horses on her stocking.) and Elena’s stocking I used that mittens fabric. I went to my Moms to struggle with her embroidery machine to get the girls names on top. I am happy with how they turned out!
